Inspirations

We designed the ‘Brama Hotel’ in Bromley, London, which stands as the town’s first luxury lifestyle hotel. The hotel is located within the renovated Bromley Old Town Hall, a historic Grade II Listed building in the UK. The interiors draw inspiration from the elegance of the 1890s and the charm of the 1930s Art Deco periods, reflecting the building’s construction history.

Within Bromley Old Town Hall, there are 23 rooms for hotel guests to enjoy. This particular guestroom showcases an art deco headboard and a black and white chevron patterned floor that extends into the bathroom. The room features a vanity with a double-sided circular mirror, creating a spacious ambiance. The bed’s feature wall displays original art deco wallpaper, and an open wardrobe with a luxurious walnut wood finish complements the overall aesthetic, seamlessly blending with other joinery pieces.

Art Deco style

The corridors draw inspiration from the Art Deco style and feature glass Art Deco light fittings. Soft pastel pink tones were selected for the walls, complemented by a black framed dado line which harmonizes with the dark door frames and accents within the room. A geometric carpet, featuring a combination of black and salmon hues, serves to juxtapose against the understated walls.

We are very fortunate to be collaborating with the owners of the dormant Town Hall of Bromley. We are working on the interiors as well as the branding and way finding of the building.
