An understated Asian elegance
The client came to us knowing our experience in Asia and our knowledge of Asian furniture and the minimalist elegance of the Asian aesthetic.
With a totally blank canvas and some existing pieces of furniture and artwork, we created a warm feel using luxurious materials such as marble flooring, marble wall panelling and bespoke joinery.
Minimalist zen
The minimalist design extended not only to the finishes but also the structure, where we worked with the architects to create minimlaist staircases and ceiling details. Marble cladding on the stairs feels very luxurious and the minimalist detailing of the stair railings were a strong feature. The lighting consultant worked closely with us to reinforce the contemporary zen ambiance.
Rarely do you find a zen oasis of calm such as this in central London.
