First Look: Brama Bromley

25 APRIL 2023

Lifestyle hotel Brama Bromley is set to open its doors to guests in summer 2023, following major renovations.

The new hotel will find home in the former Bromley Old Town Hall, a Grade II-listed building originally opened in 1906. The setting of a whole host of significant events over the years, including David Bowie’s wedding, the building will be injected with a new lease of life upon its reopening.

Dubbed Bromley’s only boutique hotel, the 23-room property will seek to combine convenience and comfort for locals, visitors and workers alike, with its location chosen owing to Bromley’s increasing popularity as a place to visit and live within Greater London. Design-led interiors will see guestrooms spotlighting neutrals with pops of colour, as well as bold green-tiled bathrooms.

Not only home to Brama, Bromley Old Town Hall has also been transformed into a new multi-use destination for Bromley, with the addition of a flexible workspace by Clockwise and all-day restaurant Dorothy and Marshall.

The return of Bromley Old Town Hall is being driven by Alexandra Livesey, Managing Director of Brama and Chief Operating Officer of Clockwise, who comments: “Bromley Old Town Hall has such a rich heritage, we discovered amazing architectural details which we’ve worked tirelessly to restore carefully and sensitively while introducing practical modern elements. We wanted to bring the building back to life, position it once again as a space for the community and local area while welcoming guests from further afield to show all that Bromley has to offer. The opening of Brama hotel as part of this mixed use scheme is an exciting addition and there’s nothing else like it in the area.”
