FIG wins Hotel story-telling & styling project in Amsterdam

FIG is proud to be working with a new client, owners of over 15 hotels in Amsterdam.
We are working on styling the renovated hotel, formerly ‘Hotel Europa’ creating a story around Sir Huygen, and tying this in with the branding and wayfinding design. Sir Constantijn Huygens, Lord of Zuilichem  was a Dutch Golden Age poet and composer. We are drawing on the images that came from his poetry and twisting them in a fun humorous way. He had a quirky character that is being reflected in the styling and story-telling. We are working on both the rooms and public areas.

The hotel has around 50 rooms and is a short walk away from all the main sights, The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum and Amsterdam’s most famous park, the Vondelpark.
