FIG shortlisted at the International Hotel & Property Awards 2026 for Citadines Canal Amsterdam

Fusion Interiors Group (FIG) has been shortlisted in the Hotel Design – Europe category at the International Hotel & Property Awards 2026 for its work on Citadines Canal Amsterdam.

Located within the historic canal district of Amsterdam, the project reflects a sensitive transformation of a heritage building into a contemporary aparthotel. The design carefully balances the architectural character of the property with a refined, modern hospitality experience.

FIG approached the interiors with a strong narrative rooted in Amsterdam’s layered cultural history. Rich textures, warm tones and carefully curated materials were used to create spaces that feel both sophisticated and welcoming, while respecting the scale and rhythm of the original structure.

The International Hotel & Property Awards celebrate excellence in hospitality and property design worldwide, with only a select number of projects shortlisted in each category. Being included among this group highlights the project’s design quality and its contribution to the evolving landscape of European hospitality interiors.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony taking place in London in September 2026.
