Brama hotel opening at Bromley Old Town Hall: first pictures

The new Hotel Brama is a boutique style hotel opening after extensive refurbishment in the area surrounding Bromley Old Town Hall, having been listed on the Heritage at Risk Register in 2009.

Photos show what guests can expect at the new hotel, which still features the building’s original Art Deco design.

The new hotel comprises 23 rooms designed in the ambience of the historical building, which was officially opened for the first time in 1907.

This new hotel is designed to serve London locals, city workers and visitors in the Borough of Bromley, which is a short train journey into central London from nearby Bromley South station.

In addition to the new boutique hotel, Bromley Old Town Hall also features flexible workspaces from Clockwise and the Dorothy and Marshall all-day dining restaurant, located in the building’s former courthouse.

Alexandra Livesey, Managing Director of Brama and Chief Operating Officer of Clockwise, said: “Bromley’s old town hall has such a rich heritage that we have discovered amazing architectural details which we have worked tirelessly to carefully and sensitively restore while adding practical modernity introduced elements.

“We wanted to bring the building back to life, repositioning it as a place for the community and local area while also welcoming guests from afar to show what Bromley has to offer.“Opening the Brama Hotel as part of this mixed-use program is an exciting addition and there is nothing else like it in the area.”
