Warwickshire’s The Belfry Hotel & Resort, home of the British Masters and four-time host to the Ryder Cup, is set to launch almost 150 additional bedrooms and new fitness and leisure facilities this August as part of an £80m project.

The 149 rooms offer views over The Belfry’s Brabazon golf course and will be available from 1 August.

Situated in a new wing, Brabazon House, rooms include The Belfry’s first-ever two-bedroom suite, complete with super king-sized beds, a balcony and double-aspect views.

Katie Niland, commercial director at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to unveil the stunning new enhancements to our resort.

“These rooms offer the most breathtaking views across the golf course, and it’s such a joy to now share that experience with our guests.

“Paired with our warm welcome and the unforgettable atmosphere we’re known for, there’s no better place to create treasured summer memories.”

With an investment in excess of £80m across the resort, the development also includes a new fitness and leisure club. Opening in late August, with an open weekend from 8-10 August 8, The Club features a gym area kitted out with Technogym equipment and offers views of the championship PGA National golf course. The space also includes four studios: a tranquil yoga studio, a dedicated reformer Pilates studio, and a spin studio with more than 30 bikes.

Other features include two pools, including a large family-friendly swimming pool with flume plus a lap pool, an extensive multi-purpose sports hall ideal for sports such as badminton, and a range of poolside facilities such as a sauna, steam room, showers and bubble pools.
