Softness, warmth and relaxed elegance of the Caribbean landscape
FIG has been appointed to design the branded residences for the Playa Dorada Villas development in the Dominican Republic. The new-build project comprises 300 luxury villas, with FIG responsible for creating the design concept for three distinct villa typologies.
Drawing inspiration from the island’s lush natural surroundings, the design approach seeks to bring the softness, warmth and relaxed elegance of the Caribbean landscape into the interiors. Natural materials such as timber, linen fabrics and locally inspired planting are used throughout to create a seamless dialogue between indoor and outdoor living.
